Can I comment on submitted works? Can I ask for review?
Comments on submitted creations, in case of open contests, can be only done by other users. Contest holders can only read comments and send private messages to particular designers.
If you are a contest holder, you like one piece of work, but it needs minor changes - you can leave that feedback to the designer. Most often than not he will do it or even post a new creation. Remember that the designers are not obliged to make corrections. In most instances, however, designers do make corrections, in order to increase their chances to win the competition
If you are a designer, remember that contest holders can always ask you for corrections. You are not obliged to do this, but it is worth to do it. If a contest holder pays attention to your creation, adjusting your work according contest holder?s expectations increases your chances of winning. However, correction request does not guarantee your chance to win.
